This month, we’re celebrating our partners at Pinnacles Prep, a local charter school transforming education in North Central Washington. By fostering lifelong learning through hands-on, community-connected projects and whole-child support, Pinnacles Prep is preparing students to thrive in college, careers, and life. This November, Thriving Together NCW hosted the Recovery Coach Retreat: Take Care of Your Heart, a transformative event for recovery coaches and certified peer counselors in our region. From breathing exercises to mask-making, participants engaged in powerful practices that fostered self-compassion, healing, and renewal.

In the summer of 2023, a new force for social justice emerged in North Central Washington—the Interfaith Justice Coalition. Born out of a shared vision among diverse faith communities, the organization aims to build relationships across differences and advocate for tolerance, empathy, inclusion, nonviolence and open-minded acceptance of all people.

This vibrant community is home to Room One, a multifaceted social service organization that advocates for the health and well-being of all people living in the Methow Valley.

One of the most powerful assets on this journey is a strong sense of belonging, a feeling of being part of a community that understands, supports, and uplifts.
